Celebrating the Olympics
Throughout
the month of February, St. Patrick’s School celebrated the Olympics by
showcasing a variety of activities.
These included Opening Ceremonies, Adopt a Country, Design a Mascot,
Olympic Reading Challenge, Flag Day, Olympic Day, Math Olympics Night, and Closing
Ceremonies.

St. Patrick’s Shamrocks would like to welcome our new Literacy
Intervention teachers, Mrs. Gail Smith and Mrs. Audrey Estey. They will be meeting with small groups of
students until early Spring.
On March 26, Literacy Intervention teacher, Suzanne Wilson, will
be moving on to Morna Heights. Best of luck and “THANK YOU” for all your hard work! We will miss you.
“THANK YOU” to the PSSC, from the teachers and staff of
St. Patrick’s, for the plants, treats and lunch that we
received for Teacher / Staff Appreciation Week.
It is nice to know that we are appreciated.
There is an information meeting for parents interested in
enrolling their child in Grade Six Late
Immersion on Monday, March 15, 2010 at Barnhill School at 6:30. Snow date
is Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the same time.
Canada Revenue Agency Volunteers will be hosting a free tax
clinic at the Carleton Community Centre every Monday, beginning March 8 until
the end of April. Volunteers will prepare Income Tax Returns for any family
with an income of less than $35,000.

6:10 Movie starts at 6:30. Cost is $2 per person or $5 per family. All
children must be with an adult.
Bring your lawn chair or blanket.
Canteen will be open.
